We want to thank you for the excellent job you did in building our dream home. We have heard many horror stories from people about the difficulty of building a new house from the ground up. However, working with Omni Homes made the process easy.
The first time we met with you, Rick, you provided us the guidance we needed to get the whole process started. Once we signed the contract that same level of service was provided throughout construction. There were many decisions to be made but you were all there to help us through the process. You made several recommendations that saved us thousands of dollars in construction costs. We really appreciate that support.
We have heard from many neighbors that their building process dragged out beyond the original timeframe quoted by their builder. When we started you told us that it would take about eight months to complete the house. On August 10th, 2007 we broke ground. Sure enough on April 3rd, 2008 we were moving into the house. You met or beat every deadline you gave us.
Just as important as the building process, has been the follow up service you have provided. You have a reputation in River Landing of providing excellent follow-up when people move into their homes. You have certainly lived up to that reputation with our home and we value the care you take with all your customers.
Since we finished construction we've had several people tell us we have the prettiest home in River Landing. That is due to the care and quality you put into the construction process. We have recommended you many times to new couples that we have met. We will continue to do so in the future.
Rick, you were always jokingly telling us that we never met a corner that we were willing to cut in order to save money. The most important corner we didn't cut was in choosing the best builder in River Landing, Omni Homes.

Mike and Tish Vandiver, River Landing We received our first electric bill for the very hot month of June.
The radiant barrier roof sheathing, energy efficient windows, blown cellulose insulation, Energy Star appliances, and our 16 SEER Bryant Evoulution system produced a electric bill of only $120.00. Not bad for a house that is almost 3000 square feet. Great Job Omni!

He welcomed our input, and we were able to be very involved in the process. Rick presented us a home construction proposal that was very competitive. His proposal included very detailed estimates of costs room-by-room. The budget targets for his suppliers (appliances, cabinets, flooring, bathroom fixtures, etc) were very reasonable, and the suppliers were very professional in providing assistance during the selection process. We also want to note our friends' amazement when we tell them that you built our house on-time and on-budget. Your organizational skills are truly outstanding. However, more important to us than your knowledge and skills, is your honesty and integrity in dealing with us, the suppliers and subcontractors. It was a great comfort to us to know that you genuinely were concerned about our interests and to know that we could trust your advice implicitly; especially since this was our first custom-built home. In hindsight, the only thing we would change about our experience with Omni Homes is to incorporate your scheduling, costing and building expertise earlier in the design phase.
